Q: What is a Vinyl fence?
Vinyl is short for polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is used for pipe, windows, and other construction products. Our product includes titanium dioxide (TiO2), UV inhibitors and acrylic impact modifiers. This blend of ingredients ensures a durable, maintenance-free fence that lasts a lifetime.
Q: How strong is a vinyl fence?
Our vinyl contains impact modifiers that meet or exceed all ASTM standards for vinyl fencing. Our vinyl has five times the tensile strength of wood with four times the flexibility. Vinyl is easily replaced if damage occurs as a result of unusual impact.
Q: What kind of warranty does vinyl have?
We offer a limited lifetime warranty that is transferable.
Q: Will my vinyl fence become yellow?
With the TiO2 compound, the answer is no. Inferior vinyl that carries a short warranty will likely turn yellow over time. The TiO2 prevents discoloration from the sun and environment.
Q: Can a vinyl fence be painted?
Paint will not adhere to vinyl because it is a non-porous material. The non-porous surface also makes it difficult for graffiti to adhere to it. Most paint can easily be removed with a mild detergent and water. For stains, a pressure washer or paint thinner may be required.
Q: Does vinyl fencing resist mold and mildew?
Since vinyl is smooth and non-porous, it is difficult for mold and mildew to grow. If it does occur, it is easily removed.
Q: How does vinyl fencing compare with wood in costs?
Vinyl fencing will cost more than wood. Over time, the price is favorable. Wood fences need maintenance, vinyl fences do not. There will be no costs in the maintenance and repair of a vinyl fence and wood will need to be replaced in time. It is proven that a vinyl fence will increase the property value of your home where a wood fence is always in need of repair.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
